Description
The Battle of the Bulge (Bulge) is also known as the Bulge Offensive.
It was a major German offensive campaign on the Western Front which took place from December 16, 1944 to January 25, 1945.
She was launched through the densely forested Ardennes region between Belgium and Luxembourg.
The main military objectives were to deny the use of the Belgian port of Antwerp to the Allies.
This would have had the effect of surrounding and destroying the Allied forces.
