This is the iconic ‘Ancient Mew’ promo card released for the Pokémon 2000 movie. The card features a holofoil background covered in shimmering blue and silver specks, overlaid with ornate yellow/gold border lines and stylized, ancient runic writing. The centerpiece is a simple, ancient-style line drawing of Mew — rendered in golden outline, distinct from other Mew cards. Unique to this card, the front text is almost entirely in a runic ‘ancient language’, while the back features standard Pokémon card branding. The printing is holographic with a glimmering glitter pattern throughout the card face. This version was distributed in the US at Pokémon: The Movie 2000 theatrical events.
